Childbirth Education
During childbirth education the goal is to educate the mother and her support person the options that are available to her during her stay at Joint Township Hospital. Our hope is to have her and her support person to have a better understanding on what happens during pre-labor, labor, and immediate postpartum time. Our goal during the class is to her the knowledge to give empowerment to make informed choices in health care, to assume responsibility to her health, and to trust her inner wisdom.
We offer Saturday childbirth education classes running from 8:30a.m. – 3:00p.m. It is a class full of useful information and hands on fun.
