FREE PROSTATE SCREENING OFFERED AT JOINT TOWNSHIP DISTRICT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

The Prostate Cancer Education Council recommends that men 40 years of age and older receive an annual prostate exam. The PCEC further recommends that men who have a family history of prostate cancer or who are African-American should initiate annual screenings at the age of 35.  For these reasons, men are urged to call for FREE Prostate Screening!

Joint Township District Memorial Hospital will be offering:

FREE screenings for men ages 40 – 75 years of age

                     April 3 from 2:00  – 5:00 pm

                           April 5 from 4:00  – 7:00 pm

Cancer of the prostate can go undetected for years because there may be no symptoms. The only way to detect prostate cancer in its earliest and most curable stage is by getting a prostate cancer screening which consists of a Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test and a Digital Rectal Exam (DRE). These two tests have helped millions of men identify prostate cancer already and millions more need to become aware of the risks and treatment options.
