|Practice Manager||Grand Lake Neurology & Pediatrics|
The Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of both the Grand Lake Neurology & Pediatric Physician Practice. The Practice Manager works collaboratively with practice providers to ensure the efficient and effective daily operation of the practice including the supervision and evaluation of the practice staff as well as ensuring the practices financial viability via revenue cycle management and operational expense control. Oversees all practice operations, budget and work flows within the medical practice to ensure all applicable Grand Lake policies and procedures are in effect. This position requires critical thinking skills and working special projects as assigned. The Practice Manager is responsible for ensuring the practice’s marketing and growth as well as continuous quality improvement and excellence of service. The Practice Manager ensures smooth interfaces with hospital operations.
Bachelors degree in business administration (or equivalent) or combination of five years progressively more responsible healthcare management experience and education/training in medical office administration/management required. Expert knowledge of practice management and administration; advanced ability to interpret, implement and develop Grand Lake Health System policies and procedures; proficient ability to develop, design and present complex information to various audiences; proficient mathematical reasoning skills; proficient oral, written and communication skills; proficient negotiating and influencing, political acuity and resiliency skills; advanced problem solving skills; advanced ability to assume accountability for ones responsibilities and actions; and advanced knowledge of technology application to the office setting. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
Past experience in Neurology or Pediatrics.
