Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services
The Rehabilitation Department at JTDMH has a simple goal: To promote injury prevention and rapid recovery by restoring our patients to their fullest possible function in the least amount of time.
Whether you are recovering from an illness or injury, would like to learn more about safety, or are concerned about a family member's ability to function, we are here for you!
Physical Therapy is dedicated to evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and developmental problems. Each patient is evaluated by a licensed physical therapist, and receives an individualized treatment plan. Home exercises are developed to accelerate the healing process.

Hours of Service
PHYSICAL THERAPY CLINIC HOURS
Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
During these hours patient evaluations and treatments are performed. Patients may call or walk in to schedule appointments during these hours as well.
Full evaluation of a musculoskeletal or neurological injury or problem will last about 1 hour with follow-up treatments scheduled for 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on each patient’s needs.
Access to physical therapy services is through the Dialysis and Rehabilitation entrance on the east side of the hospital (200 St. Clair Street). Travel through the double doors and turn left to enter the Rehabilitation Department for physical therapy services.
JTDMH offers a comprehensive Rehabilitation Program consisting of Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy - dedicated to meeting the needs of each patient.
