JTDMH offers a comprehensive occupational health program and is very pleased to have Dr. Juan V. Torres on staff as our Medical Director. Dr. Torres completed his residency in general preventive medicine and public health at Walter Reed Institute of Research in Washington D.C., and has a Graduate Degree in Public Health from John Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland. His experience is extensive in Occupational Medicine, including service with the United States Military, the Federal Government, private industry and business.

Occupational Health Clinic Hours Of Service

Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

During these hours, injury care is provided in our new clinic. Injury care for those times outside of normal clinic hours is available through the Emergency Department which is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

Scheduled appointments are required for physicals, injury follow-up care and drug screens.

Effective August 1st, 2009, we will have the following hours of operation:

Walk-ins are accepted for injury care, post accident, random and reasonable suspicion drug and BAT screens. Photo ID is required for drug and BAT testing.

Access to occupational health services is through the Emergency Center entrance under the canopy on the west side of the Hospital (200 St. Clair Street.) Just enter through the double doors and turn right to access the Occupational Health Clinic.
