Laboratory Services
The Laboratory offers comprehensive services to inpatients, outpatients and emergency patients of all ages and is staffed 24 hours a day. Laboratory tests are analyzed using state-of-the-art instrumentation which is updated regularly. The Medical Director is certified by the American Board of Pathologists and, when not on site, is available on an on-call basis during off hours, weekends and holiday. JTDMH offers a comprehensive occupational health program and is very pleased to have Dr. Juan V. Torres on staff as our Medical Director. Dr. Torres completed his residency in general preventive medicine and public health at Walter Reed Institute of Research in Washington D.C., and has a Graduate Degree in Public Health from John Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland.
