2012 Grand Health Challenge—The Fun Way to Achieve a Healthier Lifestyle
In 2007, Joint Township District Memorial Hospital partnered with a variety of regional organizations to help area residents lose weight and develop healthier lifestyles. Since then, this annual contest known as “The Grand Health Challenge” has helped 1,300 members of the community lose more than 12,000 pounds of excess weight and received a number of awards including multiple honors from the American Heart Association.
Inspired by our past success in changing lives for the better, this year we’re offering again two Grand Health Challenge programs that will run at the same time, but are geared toward different groups of participants. In 2012, Grand Lake residents can choose to enter our regular Grand Health Challenge for individual adult participants or a Grand Health Family Challenge that will engage entire families—especially the kids—to get them working together to achieve healthier lifestyles.
To help you and your loved ones participating in our challenges this year, we suggest that you visit EverydayHealth.com.
