Did you know that not all CPR classes are alike? Joint Township Hospital meets the community's various needs by offering different types of CPR classes, including those for healthcare providers, parents with newborns, the general public and more.
Adult / Child / Infant Heart Saver
These classes are designed for individuals who require a credential for course completion and covers cardiac, respiratory, and choking emergency procedures for adults and children and adults over 1 year old. CPR-BLS Healthcare Provider

Classes are designed for Healthcare Professionals who are required to have qualifications in Basic Life Support and CPR. Information covered includes Adult and Pediatric CPR, foreign body airway obstruction, automated external defibrillation, special resuscitation situations, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies. Diabetes Self-Management Educational Classes
Our program has received recognition by the American Diabetes Association as an approved education program. We focus on each individual's needs and setting realistic goals to promote a healthier lifestyle and better management of their diabetes. We offer both individual consultations and group classes to ensure that patients feel comfortable with their diabetes management plan when they complete the program. Seniorcise

Seniorcise, a low-impact aerobic exercise program, has been developed especially for senior adults and is offered Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:00 am from fall through spring at the Joint Township Hospital Annex. Joint Township District Memorial Hospital offers a Stroke Support Group on a regular monthly basis, at Joint Township Hospital. This group will be helping patients, families, and caregivers to understand multiple components of strokes such as: prevention, nutrition, physical/emotional effects, rehab needs, wellness, depression, and motivation.
